Unable to log in to Kinja (AVClub et al) with Facebook OAuth flow

Steps to reproduce:
On any Kinja site (AVC, Gizmodo, Jezebel etc.) using the account button, sign up with Facebook.

Expected behavior:
Logged in to Kinja, able to comment and star

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Version 0.99.120.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)
iMac (macOS Ventura 13.0 beta build 22A5365d)

If I enter compatibility mode for AVclub.com I get the following error once I go through the FB auth flow:

If I add kinja.com to compatibility mode, the flow completes and I get logged in
