  • Click the URL bar to type in a URL
  • UI now looks pretty bad. The: the URL bar shifts in length and the margins shrink so it’s much closer to the edge of the screen. All of the options such as back/next/share etc next to it are gone. It’s also doesn’t feel ergonomic for it to just shift like that and present an entirely new UI every time you hit the bar. Pic of what I mean:

  • Click URL bar to type. Everything at the top of the browser remains the same and you can type. (See how Safari behaves). The suggestions etc in the main browser view area can still show as expected. But actually I think showing them EVERY time you click the URL bar is a maybe bit much and feels jumpy. Maybe it would be better to just show them on new tabs. But it’s also nice sometimes.
