There are no tab options on iPadOS. It is expected to show tab options when user right clicks on tabs for more options like:

  • Close Tab
  • Move Tab to Tab Group(this is only available in Tabs View)
  • Pin Tab
  • Duplicated Tab

Tab options must be available in both Tabs View and also when right clicked on any tab(front and background tabs) in Tool Bar.

Please consider this feature.

    Safari on iPadOS, bewilderingly, lacks the “Close tabs to right” feature that Safari on MacOS has.

    When adding right click options on iPadOS, please include this.

    The lack of parity with Safari here is annoying when it looks 90% the same but you have to remember that you can’t manage tabs the same way..

    I am curious, are you using this with a mouse or a trackpad?

      Vlad Sorry, I never responded. With a trackpad on the magic keyboard.

      I want to suggest that the "Close all other tabs" (and nominally, "Close all tabs to the right") are added to this menu. Should I start a new issue?

      P.S. I Go back and forth between orion/safari on iPad and its definitely getting closer to the point where I switch full time. Keep it up.

              Orion has that Safari doesn't:

              • Extensions
              • Way more customization
              • Feels faster IMO. I know it's all WebKit so maybe this is my own bias.

              Safari has that Orion doesn't:

              • More complete hotkeys (Cmd+Shift+T to re-open last closed tab for example). Cmd+Shift+(up/down) to navigate tab groups. etc...
              • Some UI elements (right click tab to close all other tabs)
              • Some useful functionality: Pin a tab. (It also remains pinned if you right click to close all other tabs)
