Bug Report

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Turn on vertical tabs.
  2. Open a new tab. This is the parent tab. From something like Hacker News, where you can easily make new tabs.
  3. Middle click two links, such that two tabs are now "descendent" tabs.
  4. Switch to one of the descendent tabs.
  5. Middle click the parent of the tab group, while focused on a descendent tab.

Expected behavior: The parent tab and all children close, and you're dropped to the start page, or the parent tab closes, but all child tabs remain visible.

macOS: 11.6 (20G165) (Orion version 0.99.107-beta (WebKit 613.1.3))

Should be an option. Many users like to close the parent tab without closing it's child tabs.

Would be nice to have a "Close tree" option in the right-click context menu.

Vlad changed the title to Close tree option in right click menu for tree parent .
