Suggested passwords arent saved

Go to a website, my example streamable.com
Sign up for a new account.
Use Orion's suggested password.

It should then keep this password in Passwords database of Orion.

Version 0.99.120-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)
MacBook Pro M1 (macOS Monterey 12.6 build 21G115)

piratx Can not reproduce. Have you actually tried logging in with that username?

Yes! It doesnt give me the password.
After Orion sets it and if I didnt note it down, I dont know the password and the Password database doesn't have it.

And it's not the only site. Thanks for checking!

piratx Yep, still could not reproduce the problem. It saves the password OK for me.

Now it's like this, I am using 1Password for passwords, or trying to anyway!
There was a bug on previous versions but now cmd \ brings the little 1Password bar or autotypes the username/mail password and logins.

I had this issue today on https://app.netlify.com/signup/email

I used a suggested password and it wasn't saved anywhere.

MacBook Pro on 13.4.1 (updating now though... I haven't been getting alerts about new versions for a while!)

Orion Version 0.99.126.4.1-beta (WebKit 618.1.2)

edit: I just noticed in Settings -> Passwords there is an option for "Offer to save passwords to Orion's keychain" which was not checked. Is that why this happened? Why would that be an option?

charcole Indeed, that's correct, having that "Offer to save passwords to Orion's keychain" unchecked is why the password did not save.

I also do not reproduce the original bug reported. However, is there is specific way, or a specific site or some other specific case where these options around autofilled passwords are not working correctly?
