Steps to reproduce:
Install DarkReader from chrome web store. Open a link in a new tab (for example click on a kagi search result). The newly opened tab does not have DarkReader styles applied. Upon reloading the tab DarkReader applies dark styles correctly.

Upon first load DarkReader says "This page is protected by browser". After a reload that message is gone and DarkReader works correctly.

DarkReader is enabled for all pages in extension permissions.

Expected behavior:
DarkReader should render the newly opened tab with dark styles

    @Vlad FYI on the iOS version both the firefox and chrome darkreader extensions also report "This page is protected by browser". On iOS however reloading the page does not clear that status, darkreader is non-functional on iOS.

      @Vlad there's been a regression here. DarkReader appears to be failing in the same was as the original report again. It does nothing on iPadOS and on MacOS 0.99.122-beta it says "This page is protected by browser" on some pages seemingly randomly.
