Currently, I have Adguard install on my phone which I can turn on via iOS Settings > Safari > Content Blockers. How do I do this using Orion?
How to add Adguard to Orion
Open Orion and navigate to Menu > Tools > Estensions > Popular > Ads and Tracking: there you find the AdGuard extension. I suggest the better option uBlock Origin, what you can also find within the suggestions.
I have never been able to get AdGuard or uBlock to work.
Is there a list with extensions that work properly that Orion?
Moolan jep, right. But you can find it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adguard-adblocker/bgnkhhnnamicmpeenaelnjfhikgbkllg
On iOS neither the Firefox nor the chrome version works for me. Firefox Version Never seems to actually download any filters and the chrome version does show a filter rule count but does not actually apply any of them as far as I can tell.
philippgerard I noticed that deactivating the built-in filters does seem to allow Chrome Adguard to work.
philippgerard Normally Orions built in adblocker will be as good. If you want support for additional filter you can upvote that post on our site.
For German-speaking sites like spiegel.de or golem.de the built-in filters don't do much, unfortunately. I'll upvote your suggestion
Hi, I find the browser a really good start. Unfortunately with decent problems.
as already mentioned here, the built-in filters for almost all German sites do not work at all. E.g. NTV News etc.
also as already mentioned, the tools of Firefox do not work, or are not loaded apparently.
the Chrome tools e.g. UBlock is displayed and seems to work, but the ublock settings are not there, or just have a white page.
once you have ublock or so installed, your own content blocker and tracking settings are barely adjustable. Everything seems to be blocked. Nothing works anymore.
The extensions can also no longer be uninstalled. The browser must then be completely uninstalled itself and reinstalled.
Cheers
