Right now, the browser looks identical to Safari. Somewhat disappointing considering Safari itself looks rather outdated compared to many other Apple apps. Safari (and Orion) both use lots of edges and squared off corners which don't follow any of Apple's modern apps. It looks barely different than it did since MacOS Yosemite which came out 8 years ago.
Even Apple acknowledged and tried to modernize the design with MacOS Monterey and its compact tabs, but it fell short because it delineated too much from the expected UX of a browser. Instead, Safari now has a hodge-podge of rounded corners and squared off corners in an attempt to keep the old tab design with Apple's newer visual design language. It was rushed in response to massive negative feedback and it shows.
I would like to see Orion try to implement more a better, cleaner visual design rather than emulating the failed Safari redesign from Apple.
