I am unclear why this thread was marked as “done” but this issue is still present in iOS. I have to manually toggle the extension on/off for it to initialize upon launching a fresh app session.
I wonder if the same is happening with other extensions I’ve installed, like uBlock Origin.
^^ This. Dark Reader is one of the main reasons I use Orion on iOS and it hasn't been fixed in months
uBlock Origin has never worked for me on iOS though. That may be a separate issue in itself.

I have similar problems. Sometimes it works flawlessly and other times I have to force closes the app to get it working.
It would also be nice to be able to utilize NoirApp extension for iOS.
