Steps to reproduce:
Compared to safari with DDG autocomplete results have a 2-300ms lag before processing autocomplete.
See contrived video example. There’s a real noticeable delay as I type “football” I have to wait of the word to complete, then the autocomplete suggestions kick in vs safari with DDG; by the time I’ve typed “foot” it’s showing “football” as an autocomplete suggestion. Similarly as I type “n” of news DDG is already giving me popular suggestions, it guesses wrong on “n” but “news” is a suggestion as soon as I’ve typed “ne”. I’ve typed the whole word “news" in Kagi and I’m still waiting for the round trip to kick in and populate “football news”.
Looks like the same happens on desktop Orion too.
Expected behavior:
It'd be really nice for near instant autocomplete suggestions so you can click one the suggestion rather than type out the whole search term especially on mobile.
