When opening an external link, Orion will make a new tab in the last window that was used. It's a bit of an issue when that window was one using Focus Mode because it lacks the browser chrome and there is no UI for the tabs. I think that's confusing because the UI hints are gone.
Additionally, I would expect people to use Focus Mode for windows they want to keep a "single thing" in most of the time, and having to un-focus, move tab to a window, and then re-focus again is too many clicks.
It would be nice if new links open in the last window that is not a window with focus mode. (and of course if there is none, then make a new normal window). Alternatively, it would make sense to un-focus the window to show that a new tab has been created.
This is what happens to a Focus Mode window when you open a new link. Kinda hard to figure out what happened and where my google search went.
The suggested workaround of "Switch to a different orion window before using a different app" is not exactly cutting it
