Steps to reproduce:
<whenever I search using spotlight on iOS, it triggers the right orion browser, however the page is not on kagi. Even after I’ve checked and setup the proper setting, ie set Lagi as default search engine. the iOS app seem to search using the default Safari search engine setting.>

I have the same issue.
viewsourc3 It's certainly nice that they've added Kagi search extensions on both Safari for iOS, and macOS. However, that doesn't seem to solve the issue on the Orion browser.
@Vlad thanks for fixing it on iOS. it's working as intended now. However, I hope the fixes update is coming to macOS as well. issue there reoccurring still. Thanks again.
poeticquinns The issue was reported for mobile only. You will have to open a new issue for desktop and you can reference this.
