“Open in new tab” doesn’t mark the link as visited

Steps to reproduce:

Open a page with a link you have never visited.
Tap and hold that link
Choose “Open in a new tab”

The link remains “unvisited” (CSS :visited doesn’t apply).

Worth mentioning: “When a link opens in a new tab, make it active” is disabled in the settings.

Expected behavior:
Link should be marked as visited.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
iPhone 13 mini, iOS 15.5

Vlad I just tested it on DuckDuckGo on iOS safari and it changes the links to visited (at least it changes the colors) even when I “Open in background”. Orion does not do this.
