Address bar isn't rendered correctly when the address contains CJK characters or emoji

Steps to reproduce:

Turn off "Show full website address".
Search a keyword with CJK characters or emoji, for example "测试" or ""
The full address is shown on the address bar, sometimes even the highlight is incorrect, e.g. highlighting google.co instead of google.com

Expected behavior:

Show only domain on the address bar.

this also happens with umlauts (ä,ö,ü) and ß

cyzyvos It seems like not dealing well with utf8 characters of more than one byte.

not sure if this is related but domains with special characters aren't properly rendered
