Steps to reproduce:
I have Orion on both macOS and iOS, and it seems as though tab syncing isn't working. I have 3 tabs open on Mac, and 4 tabs open on iOS. Neither of the other devices accurately reflect what is on the other device. I have disabled/re-enabled sync, and have closed and re-opened both apps.

Expected behavior:
Tabs should sync between devices, and I should be able to see an up to date list of what's open on the other devices.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
macOS: Monterey version 12.3.1 on M1 MacBook Pro 14" - Orion: Version 0.99.114-beta (WebKit 614.1.12)
iOS: 15.4.1 on iPhone 13 Pro Max - Orion: Version 1.0.3.120 (WebKit 8613.1.17.0.8)

Please let me know if there are any additional logs or anything I can provide.

ajgraves It works for almost everyone (this is first report of the kind) and the description does not unfortunately gives us clues where the problem is or how to reproduce it. Best I can suggest is to check if Orion is enabled in your iCloud Drive?

Vlad I agree Vlad, this is a tough one to nail down as I expressed in the Discord. Yes, Orion is enabled in my iCloud Drive. I disabled/re-enabled it just now and tested again, no change on either the Mac or the iPhone.

ajgraves You can try resetting Orion on the Mac to see if it helps. The instructions are in the FAQ.

Vlad After following the FAQ for resetting orion preferences/bookmarks/history/extrensions, there is no change. I will note that bookmarks I had saved synced back on the mac, but tabs are still showing as they did in the screenshots above (and the only tab I had open on mac was a single new tab)

            6 days later

After installing the update today for Mac, it seems as though my iPhone can accurately see the tabs open on my Mac, but the Mac is still unable to see the correct tabs open on the iPhone. Does there need to be an update installed for the iPhone app as well to completely put this one to bed? (No update shows available in TestFlight currently)

              a month later

Having the same issue. iOS app sees macOS tabs, macOS sees outdated (not updating) selection of tabs from iOS.

I've tried turning sync on/off on both iOS/macOS side. I've restarted both browsers and both are running latest version (macOS: Version 0.99.115.3-beta (WebKit 614.1.12), iOS: 1.1.0.1)

paul To reopen please create a new issue with steps to reproduce (from clean Orion if possible) because nobody else is having the issue anymore (assuming latest versions of Orion)

Came here to report the same thing. iOS can see mac tabs, but not the other way around. @paul if you open a new issue can you link it here?

                      paul Orion Mac:

@Vlad where can we get the overview of the iPhone tabs in Compact tabs view (Desktop)? These tabs could be shown at the Start page or in the Tab overview just like in Safari. Should I make a suggestion for this if there isn't one already?

How did you manage to get your iPhone tabs displayed through a single button? I've tried using a Programmable button but I can't find the Menu action to achieve this.

Vlad thanks, I’ve tried that. I’m curious about @ajgraves’s approach as it seems so require less space and fewer clicks.

By the looks of it, he got (or should’ve) the summary of his iPhone tabs by just clicking once on that button and hovering over the device name. Your approach, besides using a significantly larger button, requires three clicks: (1) click tab overview, (2) select Synced devices and (3) click on device name.

I know this might seem minor, but it’s an interaction I do so often that I’ll take any possible shortcut.

tothika Just a note that this issue is a very old thread ans is marked as done. If any new feature suggestions are being made it should be in a new open thread.
