Improve Youtube extension - cannot set any options

Steps to reproduce:
Install Improve Youtube! from chrome store. go to youtube.com and try to make changes to the Improve Youtube extension from the toolbar. Nothing is displayed in the poppet. Tried right clicking and choosing options (opens a new tab) - empty.

Expected behavior:
Improve Youtube! options should appear when clicking the icon in the toolbar.

Same issue here, more than a year later (which is, emphatically, not a complaint but just noting as the reason I'm bringing back a zombie thread).
