Currently the splash screen for Orion mobile can be very jarring depending on what iOS device you're using. On an older device it behaves somewhat normally however on my iPhone 12 mini with how fast it loads it's essentially just a flash of a barely intelligible logo before you're in and ready to go. On dark mode the flash is even worse since the background of the splash screen isn't the same color as the new tab page.
On Safari the splash screen is the same color of the new tab page with no logo and a quick fade making it difficult to even realize it had ever been closed depending on your device.
I propose we use the same approach for Orion considering the problem will likely just get worse the faster iOS devices become.
