This might not be a popular request, but I like using both tree-style-tabs and a normal "top" tab bar:

I enjoy working this way- the tree-style tabs allow me to navigate through deep trees of links ("rabbit holes"), while the normal tabs give me a much better visual indicator of what tab to change to (via cmd+1, cmd+2, etc.)
This is one of the last things preventing me from making the full switch-over, along with Chromium-like profiles/multi-install support.
Another way of "implementing" this would be supporting tree-style-tab extensions from Firefox, I'm not sure which would be easier.
