I use a safari extension called "Tab Space" this gives me the ability to close all tabs to the right or left of my currently active tab.
They use Ctrl + R and Ctrl + L for this and i find this super useful.
I'll leave the Tab Space settings for reference

Aaron3lias The only problem I see with this is that normally app chortucts begin with cmd rather than control. Close tab is cmd w for example on macos. Please propose shortcuts for Close Left tabs, Close Right Tabs and Close Other tabs having this in mind

How about enclosing 'Close Tab' within a 'Close Tabs' submenu with additional options like Close Other Tabs, Close Tabs to Left, and Close Tabs to Right. This would be a logical place to include the requested functionality, and enable users to assign a custom shortcut in System Settings. It would also encourage feedback and suggestions for shortcuts.
