Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download the .dmg
  2. Open the .dmg by double clicking on it.
  3. Drag and drop Google Analytics Opt Out into the Applications folder.
  4. Open the Applications folder.
  5. Run Google Analytics Opt Out by double clicking it in the Applications folder.
(Note that the application has no UI.)
  6. Run Orion.
  7. Go to Tools > Extensions > Manage
  8. Click 'Add exstension'.
  9. Try to select the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Expected behavior:

I'd expected to be able to add the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on as an extension

Now I was forced to sign in to the chrome web store and download the extension there.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

macOS Monterey, v. 12.2.1 (21D62)
Macbook Pro (Intel)
Orion Version 0.99.113.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.5.7)

The page https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en recognizes Orion as Safari and makes you download the Safari add-on. I don't think that Orion has any support for Safari extensions.

You would indeed need to download the Firefox or Chrome extension instead and see if that works in Orion.
