Steps to reproduce:
- Open new tab
- Use the shortcut cmd + L to focus the address bar (it will unfocus)
Expected behavior:
The address bar should not un-focus, like on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.

I'm not sure I follow the issue here - I can definitely see a use-case or complaint if hitting Cmd + Tab doesn't let you immediately start typing a search query, but that seems to work fine for me. Am I missing the issue here?
This should be by default. Safari has this by default as well.

Vlad Sorry for replying to a two-year old message- pressing command + t then writing a search query is pretty much muscle memory for me at this point. Having to press command + t then command + l then type has a really steep learning curve; doubly so if you frequently switch between browsers as I do. But ultimately, it's your browser and your call.
