  • Right click Open Link in New Tab vs Middle Click open multiple tabs in different order

  • BugsDesktopDone

This may be related to Middle-click on link in pinned tab should open at first slot (like right-click open).

Steps to reproduce:
Open a website with multiple links, like a search page
Go down the list of links, right clicking each one and selecting Open in New Tab
Notice that the first link opens in the tab to the right of the current tab, while the second appears to the right of that one, and so on. The new tabs open left-to-right in the order clicked
Close all those tabs, going back to the original tab.
Go down the list again, middle clicking each tab.
Notice that each successive link opens a new tab between the previous link and the current tab. The new tabs open right-to-left in the order clicked.

Expected behavior:
I expected the middle clicked links to open tabs in the same order as right-clicked links. Tabs should open left-to-right in the order clicked.

CMD+TAB also opens tabs left -> right, so this seems like a middle-click only problem. The option "Open new tab next to current tab" seems to have no effect on middle-click behavior.
