Symptom: Several tabs open, without energy use. shutdown for the weekend. Restart and open Orion. Energy goes to max. Click on each the tabs to reload, it drops again. Then have a massive process running while having lunch, force quit dialogue appears. (I quit Orion, not the massive memory hog). Orion is now OK for.... No now it wants me to quit the memory hog or anything else, yet again. Leak?

conflated problem, it seems. The other application does not behave well with sleep. However, the restart OS with multiple tabs is reproducible (causing the Energy warning). pm me if you need links that were open (SFW, but I rather not give them out all over).

robt Yes please post exact steps to reproduce and you can send the links via PM to me on discord. Just to not that in Safari you do not get the same behavior?

It seems it is not reproducible consistently. I have a suspicion it is actually a bug in the OS to do with monitoring Energy impact. I cannot compare with Safari 15 as that is always showing high energy usage 🙁
I would mark this bug as minor.

OK, so I rarely reboot my Mac, or even close Orion, but on EVERY update Orion is a "warned app" in Energy Use (under Battery in the top menu). Running through all the tabs (to load them) then seems to calm things down so Orion does no longer show as using significant energy.
I think it is a combination of reopening the app with tabs already present (but not reloaded), and the Energy Use stats being a delayed (time averaged) reading.

@Vlad probably mark nofix/done, as this probably has been changed
