A great feature that Safari does have is to minimize a tab when you move it all the way to the left. The favicon is the only part of the tab that is visible. Here is the example in Safari:

    its basically that you can drag a tab to the left to pin it

      in safari, you can drag tabs to the corner to make it easily accesible always, this is different from just having a website i regularly use as my first tab becaues if i have a lot of tabs i wont have to scroll back through all of my tabs to get to it. I personally have to check in everyday using a certain website, always having it in the corner makes it much more conveninet than having it as a book mark or just typing it in.

        You can pin a tab using CMD + Shift + I or by right clicking the tab and selecting "Pin Tab"

            No worries, I think the suggestion should be to add tab pinning when you drag a tab to the corner like Safari, if that's what you are looking for.

              toddbomb yup, thats what i want, i guess i can edit it, but i think it gets the message accross to the devs, if not reading ur comment will lol, so im just gonna leave it, yea im lazy.

                          I would like to be able to drag a tab in order to make it pinned. I think it would just make it easier to add a pinned tab to the location you want it to go.

                          One browser that has that is Arc, which when you drag a tab to the pinned area, it automatically changes to a pinned tab.

                            iirc there already is a post for this (but for horizontal tabs), but i can't find it

                              I would love this feature too. It would be so much more efficient to do one action instead of 3:

                              • Click and drag tab to preferred location

                              Rather than:

                              • Right click tab > Select Pin Tab > Click and drag pinned tab to prefered location
