I suggest making the setting for "Open Link in New Tab" the opening link in a new tab exactly and always next to the current one. For example on the Google search page, it's pretty annoying when new tabs are opened "somewhere".

I think we can add "Open New Tab After Current Tab" to Orion Browsing preferences. This will force all new tabs to be open after current.

Being able to configure where new tab appears and behavior after closing current tab would be absolutely amazing if possible 🙏 I think Vivaldi sets an amazing gold standard (maybe going a teeny-tiny bit overboard 🤣) when it comes to tab behavior customizability:
