eirk SigmaOS now has limited extension support of some sort, as it can run a few extensions (https://sigmaproduct.substack.com/p/use-your-chrome-extensions-on-sigmaos). It supports 1Password, as well some others. Does Orion support the exact same functionality as SigmaOS for 1Password?
Vlad eirk I do not know, but I am intrigued and if it does, we'd love you to test it head to head and compare with support in Orion? We could use a detailed report!
eirk I'm just asking for the benfit of the public. I can't really test this out because I don't use 1Password, and I have already used up the trial. (It expired three hours ago. LOL)
Itai Here's the link to logging in with SigmaOS. Here's the link to saving a login with SigmaOS. Here's the link to logging in and trying to save a login with Orion.
NERO2k Think I found out why it works. From Andrew Beyer, Browser Experience engineering lead at 1Password. Guess we need a 1Password employee to use Orion 🤣
NERO2k Personally i cant find any clues other than one of the developers using it but it does seem like they have some sort of partnership but that may just be how i interpret it. In their subscriptions section they offer 1password as part of one of their bundles so im guessing some sort of communication must have occured. That may just be me misinterpreting it though.
Longely not sure what the ask is here or why its planned. maybe it should be closed or moved to the big 1password issue?
