I use the outstanding Choosey application (https://www.choosyosx.com) as my default browser. It's invaluable when you regularly use more than one browser. It allows me to create rules for which browser opens certain URLs. Choosey has browser extensions for Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. If you have the extension installed, you can click on the extension icon in your browser toolbar, and Choosey will show you all the other browsers you have configured in Choosey, and you can easily click on one to open the current URL in that browser.
Neither the Firefox nor Chrome Choosey extensions work in Orion. They install, but clicking the extension button in the toolbar does nothing. My guess is because those extensions are using some part of the Web Extensions API that has not yet been implemented in Orion.
It would be really great if the Choosey extension worked in Orion. It would make it much easier for me to use Orion as my primary browser, because when I observe something that seems not to work in Orion, it's really easy to open the page in another browser and compare results.
Choosey does have a bookmarklet (https://www.choosyosx.com/browsers), which does work in Orion, but it has the unfortunate behavior that it prompts every time you click it if it's OK to open the Choosey application. I completely understand and agree with why Safari, and Orion, insert this additional prompt requiring user confirmation before allowing bookmarklets to launch applications -- it prevents bookmarklet bombs that open an application repeatedly. However, this behavior doubles the time it takes to use the Choosey bookmarklet, and I find annoying enough that I end up not using the bookmarklet.
