I have a habit of quitting out of all apps except those I actively want running in the background before I go to bed I put my iPad away (close the keyboard lid locking the screen etc), then come back to it the next day there’s half a dozen (give or take, sometimes fewer, sometimes over a dozen) messages saying Orion crashed and asking if I want to share a crash report.
If it’s too many I just reboot the iPad as that’s easier than clearing all the errors.
I have submitted one crash report (from bastardsheep at gmail dot com).
Started on v1.5.3 (4), when it updated to v1.5.3 (5) the problem seemed to stop, but as of v1.5.5 (1) the problem has returned.
iPad Air M4 running iPadOS27.0, it doesn’t happen on my iPhone which is running iOS27.0 and shares the same tab groups.
It doesn’t seem to matter which websites I have open, I’ve even closed out of all running websites in the active tabgroup before going to bed and it still happens.
Only extensions running is fbpurity (chrome version). I’ve tried removing the app entirely, rebooting the iPad, then re-installing the app from Testflight. This hasn’t changed the behaviour at all.
I expect to not get crash reports when I wake my iPad.
