Currently I can browse tabs in tab groups two ways:
Classic tab bar, where the names don’t fit so it’s pretty useless:

Or the tab drawer on the other side of the screen, which is pretty fiddly.

What I am thinking is pretty simple - make tab groups akin to folders, so you don’t need to go to two places to look at your tab groups.
Ideally I’d like the arc style merger of tabs and bookmarks but I’m gonna stay realistic here.
This would merge the tab group shelf on the right side of the screen, and the tab group shelf on the left side of the screen.
It would save time and increase… spatial geometry awareness of your tabs?
Also you’d kill that stupid tab bar up top.
And you’d train users to just use that one space for everything. Like Arc, again. I feel like arc and Orion/kagi attract the same sort of people anyway.
There are no ambitious browsers on iPad, or yours is the most ambitious. So there is an opening.
