Visual Refinement and Animation Consistency for the Address/Search Bar
I would like to suggest UI/UX refinements regarding the behavior and appearance of the address/search bar when focused, both on the main start page and while browsing external websites.
Address Bar Focus on Main Page:
When tapping the search bar on the main start page, it undergoes an unnecessary and somewhat awkward expansion. Refining this behavior to be cleaner or keeping the layout stable without redundant expansion would significantly polish the look.
Favorite/Search Bar Transition on Webpages:
When tapping the search bar on an active webpage, the search/favorites interface appears abruptly without a smooth transition animation. Adding a natural, seamless animation here would make the browsing flow feel much more refined.
Corner Radius (Corner Radii) Consistency:
There is a noticeable mismatch between the corner curvature of the default search bar and its expanded/focused state. Aligning these corner radii to remain consistent throughout states will unify the visual design.
This change will not disrupt any existing functionality, but it will dramatically elevate the overall feel and visual quality of Orion.
Currently, the abrupt transition jumps and mismatched corner curves give an unpolished impression, especially when compared to Safari's fluid animations and precise design alignment. Implementing smoother state transitions and maintaining precise geometry will make Orion feel vastly more responsive, natural, and premium for everyday users.
