Letting these extensions use their own sidebar might be nice. Firefox doesn't do that currently, and being able to look at both the bultin sidebar on the left, and using an extension on the right would be useful to me.
Tree Style Tabs (firefox extension)
Right now, Tree Style Tabs opens up a panel on the right, and never loads the tabs.
When I right click inspected it, and checked console it said stuff like this over and over:
[Log] failed to load managed storage (user-script:18, line 13)
Error: timeout
(anonymous function) — Configs.js:266"
Going to manage extension, then clickng through to the console option it says:
Not allowed to load local resource:
[there was a file path, here's the end:] Library/Application%20Support/Orion/Defaults/Favicon%20Cache/2A44BA9B-1031-4F8B-A898-1A45D8C3C6B7
(I couldn't copy this part, but it was an anonymous function in TabFaviconHelper.js:555)
This error was repeated a few times.
Also, downloading Tree Style Tab from https://addons.mozilla.org/ doesn't change the option to add to Orion.
Tab Stash
Tab Stash doesn't do anything when clicked. (Maybe Orion doesn't support hiding tab?. I don't use Tab Stash enough that I tested out Orion's saved windows feature before poking around this for comparison.) I haven't used the other sidebar before on firefox, but they're worth checking here to see if extensions with (their own) sidebars work at all.
History Panel (firefox extension)
Clicking it did not get it to open on its own. I was able to make it open, by opening the TST panel, then changing the option at the top to switch it to History Panel. Which looked like it worked, until I clicked around, then it seemed like History was empty. Maybe it isn't allowed access?
Youtube Sidebar
While I had to use TST (firefox extension) to get it open, this one worked! Although it didn't seem to have ad-blocking (although Orion does seem to have that, when I checked youtube). When I opened and closed the panel, or switched to TST and back, it reset (reloaded at the start page, youtube's homepage. I'm not sure if it is supposed to do that (or when). And the buttons at the top didn't seem like they were working, aside from back and forward, though that didn't seem to persist after reloading from the panel closing.
I've never used Todoist, so I didn't try this extension.
