No Cursor or Highlight of URL Bar to Indicate Readiness for Input

There is no indication that the URL bar is ready for input – no cursor (steady or blinking) and no visual highlight of the URL bar itself. In this video, I click in the URL bar four times before beginning to enter text:

In Safari, there is a blinking cursor and the URL bar is highlighted:

Hey @isocat thanks a lot for sharing the detailed videos. We've tried to reproduce this in Sequoia, but unfortunately so far haven't been able to. We also tried to use the same accessibility settings as you (with increase contrast) but it was still working as expected, where Orion correctly shows the border and the blinking cursor.

Can you reproduce this issue every time with Orion? Any other hints as to a series of steps that could reproduce it would be really appreciated.

It's a bit of a rum go – so far today, every new tab and new window arrives with a URL bar framed in green, with a blinking cursor in. Yesterday they didn't, and tomorrow they might or might not.

Aah got it, that's unfortunate. No worries, we'll keep an eye out for this. Meanwhile if you do find some logic / reasoning behind when this works or does not work, please let us know on this thread.

And then later today it started happening again. And now it's once again not doing it. Can't make heads or tails of when or why!
