Most users are right-handed, and right-side tab creation aligns with our natural left-to-right reading and browsing habits. The majority of users are right-handed, following left-to-right browsing habits. Opening new tabs on the left breaks the logical page sequence and feels uncomfortable.
Please change the setting to spawn new tabs to the right of the active tab. This standard design is widely used by Chrome, Safari and Edge. I’ve attached reference screenshots. This tweak only optimizes tab order without affecting existing features, greatly improving multi-tab operation experience.
