Update website theme colors for toolbar

Sometimes the website color is different from the toolbar even with the setting enabled. Not too big of a deal but for the sake of immersion and to have a nice seamless design, some websites could be checked again. Youtube.com for instance is one where the toolbar does not match the website color. I dont think this is a bug so I didnt want to label it as one on the forum. But I did see the need to suggest it even if it isnt necessarily innovative.

Could you post a screenshot of where you see a discrepancy of colour, I'm not sure I follow exactly?

Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Below you will find the youtube homepage on dark mode and the fact the the website color and toolbar do not match (image 1).

Also, when in light mode the toolbar and website match but when viewing a video in theater mode, the website theme color does not adapt to match the color of the youtube and search bar header (Image 2).

This is a video playing in theater mode, when the page is refreshed, the toolbar does not take on the proper color to "blend in"

Hi @BravoSix , the "Allow website theme color" feature is actually dependant on the website itself to provide a "theme color". When a website does not provide a theme color, the toolbar defaults to the system's light / dark theme.

So in your example, unless youtube provdies a "theme color" that we can use to theme the toolbar, it isn't possible for us to match the website color.
