Toolbar keeps losing buttons

I'm at wit's end. Seriously thinking of taking a break from Orion.

Every time I create a new window, I lose buttons from my toolbar. I hit Reset Toolbar (Relaunch...), and I'm stuck in groundhog day - it's the same thing every time.

I'm not doing anything crazy custom with my toolbar.

I expect not to randomly lose my Toolbar buttons.

I've had similar issues -- not sure exactly what triggers it, but I've even had the URL box disappear, and right now the Back/Forward button pair is missing again.

Hey folks, really sorry that you are facing this one. I've tried to replicate this, but seems to be an edge case and I haven't been able to reproduce it so far.

Could you please let me know what tab mode you are in? (Is it standard or compact?) and if you are able to observe, it what is the exact point at which the tab bar items disappear?

i.e. Are the front / back buttons visible, and then after creating a new window, they disappear? Do you quit the app in between, or is it strictly new windows? etc. Any reliable reproduction steps will be super helpful.

It seems to be specific to having multiple windows open -- I just found that the address box had vanished on one window, and then after adding it back, the order of the toolbar elements was different in the two windows. I'll see if I can get back to a uniform state and then break it again.

I'm using the vertical tab sidebar, by the way.

I'm seeing the same issue. Compact tab mode, Orion 1.1.1, Tahoe 26.5.2. I have two windows open under one profile and one window open under another profile. Each profile has a different set of toolbar buttons.

It seems that every time I restart Orion, some toolbar buttons may disappear. After I add them back, they may disappear again the next time I launch Orion. The buttons on the left side—the Previous Page and Next Page buttons—are always among the ones that disappear.

With the recent 1.1.x releases I've lost my navigation buttons in the toolbar. If I visit View -> Customize Toolbar I can see that they buttons should be present. Additionally, the Backspace key no longer moves to the previous page. However, if I right-click I can use the < Back option from the context menu.

I'd expect the backward/forward navigation buttons to render as they did in previous Orion releases.

Thank you for all the reports everyone! We've been able to reproduce this, and this is high priority to be fixed. Apologies for the trouble caused because of it.

I opened a new window earlier, and that window still has the Back/Forward buttons, but the first window is now missing that button group. And now, having started typing in a tab of the first window, I can see that the Back/Forward buttons have also disappeared from that second window.
