Orion fails to block Amazon.com ads

I'm able to block amazon.com ads (sponsored listings, carousel ads, video ads, etc.) using the AdGuard extension when using Safari on both iOS and macOS, but Orion fails to block these ads on both platforms even with all the filter lists enabled and after attempting to use custom filter rules to get rid of these. The carousel ads in particular are hard to target.

I expect to able to block annoying Amazon.com sponsored listings and ads.

Hey!

I tested this on macOS and the AdGuard extension seemed to handle Amazon.com quite well. See the video below. If there are better example pages, please let me know.

Regarding iOS, I wish I had better news. Unless I am mistaken, the way the AdGuard for Safari extension works on iOS is something Orion cannot simply leverage. I agree the blocking experience on iOS could be better, and the team hopes to improve it in the future.

Yeah, my initial post was comparing Orion with default stock as blocker to Safari with AdGuard but with the idea that Amazon ads are a major target use case (not a niche website) and so stock Orion behavior would ideally be able to handle these ads without resorting to installing a third party extension. But yes, that makes sense. Will revert to using Safari on iOS for Amazon.com for now.
