Tab groups disappear on iPhone

After a recent update (around the start of June), my tab groups are regularly disappearing. I’m trying to figure out a way to reproduce consistently to find the root cause, but the tab group I create will disappear after a few hours to a day.

A few questions might help us find the cause of the issue:

Do your tab groups disappear when you newly open Orion, and if so, when you left Orion, do you leave it in the background, or do you force close it, then re-launch it next browsing session?
Do you have sync enabled, and if so, does turning this off prevent your tab groups from disappearing?
What is your setting for Settings -> General -> Start Orion With, and for Settings -> Tabs -> Close Tabs?

astruckm they don’t disappear when I close it. I do not force close the browser.

I don’t have sync enabled.

My setting is to manually close the tabs.

astruckm Thanks for the response! Some answers:

My tab groups do disappear when I newly open Orion. The default tab group is fine. It's just secondary tab groups. I leave Orion on in the background. Even with it running in the background, I see this issue with tab groups disappearing.
I do have sync enabled. But I actually don't see any of the tab groups I have opened on my MacBook Air Orion instance showing up on my phone. So, I'm not sure if the sync feature is working?
The settings are set to "All Non-Private Tabs from Last Session" and close tabs is set to "Manually."

I just force closed the app and the tab group disappeared. I guess I must have done that at some point since updating to notice them missing.

Force closing the app while on the tab group doesn’t delete it. Doing so while on the main default group deletes the other tab group.

bclarkejr Hey, @astruckm - Anything else I can provide for helping to debug this? I’ll see if I can find specific steps to recreate it consistently. Right now, it appears a little random for when tab groups stop showing up.

I recently worked on some improvements about tabs, tab groups and sync, hopefully that solves at least some of the issues described here.
I'll let you know when this ships.

Woot! Thank you! And keep me posted. I’ve still seen some instability, but hard to figure out exactly when it happens.
