Summary
On Google Flow (https://labs.google/fx/tools/flow), tapping the upload button →
selecting a photo from Photo Library successfully picks the file, but Flow's
asset library shows "No results found" flickering and does not display the
uploaded image. The dialog becomes unresponsive.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open https://labs.google/fx/tools/flow on Orion iOS
- Sign in with any Google account (tested with Gemini Ultra subscription)
- Create or open a project
- In compose bar, tap the "+" button (left of prompt input) to upload a
reference image
OR tap "Start" frame (Video mode) → tap upload arrow icon
- iOS action sheet appears → tap "Photo Library"
- Select any photo (tested with JPG screenshot AND HEIC camera photo)
- iOS picker dismisses, returns to Orion
Expected Behavior
- Selected photo should appear in the asset library or compose bar as
reference image
- Photo upload should complete and be usable for generation
Actual Behavior
- Asset library shows "No results found" with flickering animation
- Dialog becomes completely unresponsive
- Photo never appears
- Have to force-close the dialog and try again
Affected Behavior
- ❌ Orion iOS (latest version, [insert your version])
- ✅ Safari iOS — works (but no extension support there)
- ✅ Chrome desktop (macOS/Windows) — works
- ✅ Quetta browser (Android) — works
- ✅ Chrome Android — works
Test Without Extensions
Tested WITHOUT any browser extensions installed (clean profile), with direct
Google Gemini Ultra account login. Issue still reproduces 100% of the time.
This rules out extension interference — bug is in Orion ↔ Google Flow
interaction directly.

Severity
High — completely blocks image-to-video generation workflow for iOS users.
Google Flow's reference image upload is a core feature.
Additional Notes
- Site permissions for labs.google are set to "Allow" for everything
- Issue persists across multiple sessions and after clearing site data
- Other file uploads in different sites work (e.g. uploading photo to email
draft works fine) — issue is specific to labs.google
