38 GB tmp folder

I just checked my iPhones storage to see that Orion has taken up 40 GB. Further investigation in the app shows 38 GB are take up by the tmp directory. Which seems a little excessive.
Only ₂ GB cache can be cleared.
iPhone, iOS 26.4.2, Orion 1.4.15

I was expecting it to be a lot more resource friendly and use way less storage space.

i wonder if you could hit the clear cache button in our app, then reboot the phone and see if the app size is lower both in the Apple OS storage settings and in our app settings?

Yes that deleted all of it, not just the advertised 2 GB. Any way of preventing it from growing this big again or will I just have to wait for an update?

Not really, these tmp/webkit folders are Apple internal ones and the OS may cache stuff in there as it wants. There is no flag or anything we can do client side to prevent it. The only thing we can do is to try to delete tmp contents manually.
In next build the 'clear cache' button should include tmp folder file size so it should match closer how much data can be cleared, this is a UI only fix however
