Orion launches smoothly, but UI elements (tab switching, scrolling, menus, page rendering) start stuttering and loading slowly after roughly 30 minutes of light browsing. Once it starts, it persists for the rest of the session.
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Orion (issue reproduces on a fresh, clean profile)
- Browse normally with 2–3 tabs open
- Within 15 minutes, UI stutter and slow loading appear
What I've already tried:
- Full resets of Orion
- Disabling/removing all extensions (uBlock Origin was the only one)
- Reproducing on a fresh profile -- issue persists
- Compatibility mode
Not site-specific... it affects every site I visit once the slowdown begins.
Safari comparison: No such issue on Safari.
Orion should maintain its initial smooth performance throughout a browsing session, not degrade after 30 minutes of light use with only a couple of tabs open.
