Cloudflare Turnstile challenges cannot be completed in Orion. After clicking "Verify you are human," the page refreshes and returns to the challenge screen in an infinite loop. The verification token never passes through successfully. This has happened on multiple different Cloudflare turnstile pages, not just the one below.
Steps to replicate from a clean state:
- Navigate to https://2captcha.com/demo/cloudflare-turnstile-challenge
- Click the "Verify you are human" checkbox.
- Page reloads and presents the same challenge. Repeats indefinitely.
Troubleshooting performed — issue persists with all of the following:
- Built-in content blocker disabled
- Private browsing window
- Compatibility mode (Safari user agent) enabled
- Only extension installed: Proton (also tested with it disabled)
- No third-party ad blockers installed
This does NOT occur in Safari or Firefox on the same machine, same network, same URL. Both complete the challenge successfully. Since Safari uses the same WebKit engine and works fine, this points to something Orion-specific — likely in how Orion handles the Turnstile JavaScript callback, iframe communication, or token relay back to the parent page.
Environment:
Orion version: Orion 1.0.5
macOS version: 26.4.1
Extensions: Proton only
Content blocker: tested both enabled and disabled
After clicking "Verify you are human," the challenge should complete and the page should proceed past the security check, as it does in Safari and Firefox.
