Orion on iPadOS freezes

I’m using an iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd generation) and Orion v. 1.4.13 (8) (WebKit 8618.10.1.10.2).

Initially everything was working fine but then it developed a glitch.

Whenever I want to access the Bookmarks, either from the settings button on the top far right or via the Bookmarks icon, the Bookmarks window comes up and then freezes. Can’t do anything after that.

See the attached file and you’ll get the idea. None of the buttons work and I can’t get to my Favorites, bookmarks, etc. The “Done” button doesn’t work either.

Hmm, I was in the process of looking through my bookmarks earlier this afternoon on my iPhone, when out of the blue the bookmarks I was searching through started acting up and then they disappeared (at least the ones I could currently see on my screen) and the screen froze. I then force closed the app and when I started it back up and tried to access my bookmarks, I was presented with the same issue you are having. Hopefully it will be fixed, but sadly I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, which cost me my bookmarks and didn’t do a thing for the issue.

My Bookmarks problem as I described doesn't occur on my iPhone. I have an iPhone SE (2nd gen) running the latest iOS 26 version. Of course the Orion layout is different on an iPhone. It doesn't have a Bookmark icon but you access it via the settings button at the lower left. Nevertheless, no issues. The Bookmarks tab comes up and I'm able to access them as well as the other functions, like Extensions, Reading List, etc.

Just tried accessing the Bookmarks window on my iPad again. The same thing happens as I described in my first post. Hope there's a fix soon, otherwise it's back to Brave.

I'm running iOS 17.6.1 on my iPhone currently. I could update, but my battery is the reason why I haven't as it doesn't hold a charge well and I'm afraid updating would cause it to get worse. I'm saving up for a new battery before I update, but prior to Friday, my Orion worked just fine with no issues whatsoever. I don't know if storage space had anything to do with it, but I saw that I was vastly approaching the limit, so I eliminated a bunch of photos and videos that were unnecessary, as well as apps that I haven't been using for quite some time (cut the storage space used in half), but unfortunately, that didn't solve my issue. I then downloaded Firefox (turned off all the telemetry stuff) and it works great, no issues whatsoever and I actually prefer the layout a bit more than Orion, though I still wish the issue with my Orion would get fixed. Another thing, after my bookmarks started to act up where some of them actually disappeared form the screen while I was scrolling through them and then ultimately freezing the screen, when I forced closed Orion and opened it back up to see if I could at least save a page, I noticed there were a bunch of extra folders to choose from that I never created and not only that, there were multiples of each (they are only shown when I try to save a page though).
