Hi Kissarmy, thank you for taking the time to report this bug!

typing a mailto: URL directly in the address bar is not expected to work. However, this type of URL should trigger an email when you click on them on a page.
Could you clarify if this works when you click a mailto: URL on a web page?

I am not able to reproduce this. Mailto links just work as expected using iOS 26.3.1and 1.4.12.

Did you check with another site?

I tried reproducing the issue with the same website, on Orion 1.4.12 and on the latest version, and it all works fine for me.
It occured to me that perhaps it has something to do with the settings for default email app.

Would you be able to share the following screen: Settings.app → Apps (at the bottom of the screen) → Default Apps → Email

Let me know what you see there, and if you can perhaps change the default email app to see if it fixes the issue?

Hi,
I found it. I use eM Client as e-mail client. Apple Mail app is uninstalled. eM Client is set as default mail app. If I install Apple Mail app, but eM Client or Boxer is still set as default that mailto links are working.
Now I have still set eM Client as default app for mail and Apple Mail app is now installed only as ballast app in phone.
