Domain-based (instead of subdomain-based) per-website settings

now, say the site has a subdomain at foo.example.com

normally, you'd have to add both example.com and foo.example.com into the preconfigured website list
but using what's called a glob, you can use a wildcard operator (*) and input *google.com -- which would add google.com and all subdomains

esiayo I would do it fromthe gear icon on the toolbar, but otherwise seems like you are suggesting settings applying to subdomains etc, which I believe there is an another post on the forum for.

As of now, we have to allow extensions on each subdomain from a website, which can be a bit annoying.

Here is my use case, I often listen to new bands on bandcamp, their url format is nameoftheband.bandcamp.com. I also use the add on Volume Control for Bandcamp Player , that adds a volume bar to their player.

Each time I open a new bandcamp, I have to allow the extension manually. And if I open a bandcamp link in a new tab, I might miss the pop-up to allow the extension, then I have to go to the tab, reload it... It's not long to do but a bit of an annoyance.

Could we have a way to allow an extension on all subdomains from one domain?
