Favorites & tabs randomly reordered after recent mobile app update

I updated to 1.4.9 (4) (WebKit 8623.2.7.10.4) a few days ago and the tabs started randomly reordering. This morning, my favorites are all reordered too and a few bookmarks are missing. I noticed some old bookmarks I had deleted showed up so I assume this is a sync issue?

I expect my tabs and favorites to remain in the order I set them. I expect deleted bookmarks and closed tabs to remain that way.

AnjaliPatel Thank you for reporting this issue.

I'm guessing you have sync enabled--do you still reproduce any of these issues with sync disabled? Also, if you do have it enabled, what are the OS versions of your other device(s)?

astruckm I do have sync enabled, but only on this phone (iPhone 15PM). I had to reset and restore my phone right before the app update so I think this was just background glitching while everything restored. I did eventually have all my favorites show up plus some duplicates but that was easily fixed.
