When I search for a location and press directions it redirects to Google maps webpages and when I click open Google maps , it redirects to Appstore.
It happens to locations when the redirect link is maps.app.goo.gl
Otherwise maps.google.com redirects normally to Google maps app.

I expect any Google maps direction link in Google to open Google maps app directly.
Tried this on safari it works as intended. So not a website issue I guess
