Hi Quicknik92, thank you for taking the time to report this bug!

If you scroll down a web page towards the bottom, the toolbars will collapse. When you tap in the status bar it will first expand the toolbars. Once the bars are expanded again, another (single) tap should bring you to the top of the page.

Hi Quicknik92, Moondoggie, MalabarFront, I think I found a way to reproduce the issue, but you're probably not going to like it.

I was confused for a long time as I couldn't reproduce the issue, and I had one hint from MalabarFront mentioning they are on iOS 26.4. This is a beta release. I updated my test device to the latest iOS 26.4 beta, and of course the issue is present.

Could you please confirm you are on a beta release, to make sure this is truly the source of this issue?

Do you have "Focus Mode" enabled by any chance?
(Focus Mode is found in "Settings" → "Browsing")

It's really puzzling, as I can't reproduce the issue on either iPhone or iPad. With or without Focus Mode on.
Have you noticed if it happens on all website, or just specific ones?

Can confirm, ios and ipados (Beta and stable).
Doesnt work in window mode or full screen.
Focus mode om or off.

I'm experiencing exactly the same, affecting all websites. Tapping the status bar never scrolls the page to the top on iOS.

I've gone as far as reinstalling the app with a reboot inbetween installs, and the issue persists. I'm really keen to get this working, as it's a massive frustration for me. Are there any logs or anything we can send to help diagnose?

MalabarFront What I have noticed though, is that in the Orion screens themselves (the home screen where your favourites, recents etc.) and the settings screen, all DO scroll to top when you tap the status bar. It's only actual websites that are affected here.

When you re-installed the app, did you change any settings? Could you tell me the value of:

Where you have set the address bar (top or bottom)
Hide Toolbar on Scroll: On or Off?
Tabs grid or tab list?

Which iPhone model do you use, and which iOS version?

I didn't adjust any settings on reinstallation. Just rebooted first, installed and re-tested.

Address bar on the bottom
Hide toolbar on scroll: ON
Tabs grid

I've also toggled each of these settings to their opposites, with no effect on the issue.

Do you confirm that tapping the top of the screen (clock display or network.WiFi/Battery display) DOES expand the address bar when it is collapsed due to scrolling? Or is this behaviour also broken?

So if I tap the area with the clock/wifi etc. it does NOT expand the address bar when that component is anchored to the top. If I tap the collapsed address bar itself, that does expand it.

Below is a circle image of the area I CAN tap to expand the address bar, but anything above it does nothing.
