App hang on activate

Activating the app after doing some other work for a short while causes a hang (the rotating beach ball spinner) for about 20-30 seconds. As far as I can see this occurs only in the latest version. IMHO it is highly annoying, because orion freezes and becomes available. It blocks my workflow so I am even considering leaving Orion again.

Hope this is a simpel bug that can be fixed soon.

The app should be available near instantly, without a periodic 'hang' with a spinning beach ball.

Hey! Could you share some more information about your setup? Namely:

do you have any extensions installed?
how consistently does the hanging occur?
are you able to reproduce the issue on a fresh Orion profile? (File → Profiles → New Profile…)?
Would you be able to create a screen recording of the issue?

no extensions at all
very consistent: after having been using other apps and returning, the problem occurs consistently.
not tried yet (will try soon)
probably not, as to avoid sharing tabs/content + I see no further purpose in 'prooving' a spinning beach ball

I read about memory issues elsewehere on this forum. This could be very well related as I see orion seems to be using more memory than it used to, or that the latest release somehow seems to get that under control by putting processes to sleep, including the open tab (not sure about that, just a hunch).
