It would be nice to have at some point a way to selectively disable blocking a specific tracker on a specific website from the list of detected domains that are being blocked on the given site. Something like Ghostery has or used to have:

This lets you do things like:

  • blocking some Google tag thing on this site breaks this site -> allow this specific site to load it so that it doesn't break
  • I want to comment on this article which uses FB comments -> enable FB comment widget on this site
  • I want to read this embedded tweet -> enable Twitter widgets on this specific site

etc., while not letting that tracker load everywhere globally or not disabling content blocking completely on the given site (which would also probably show ads, enable 20 different trackers to record you etc.)

    At this point I am not sure Orion wants to venture there with our default content blocker as it gets very tricky very quickly. Dedicated extensions like uBO were built with this purpose in mind.

      Yeah, I've already seen it e.g. block some web fonts from loading even though I don't have "block web fonts" enabled…
