Unable to sign in to aviso.ca

I have an investment account on Aviso for which I sign in at https://online.aviso.ca. Sign-in fails. After the failure, the site banner says:

Your password is missing.
Your email is missing.

Looking at the web inspector console, I see this:

With or without content blockers enabled, it's the same failure.

But if I turn on Compatibility Mode, then it works.

Is that a legitimate failure mode? I'm able to sign-in using Safari with all manner of blockers enabled.

I expected to be able to sign-in, either normally or after disabling content blockers.

After posting this I discovered that I'm able to sign in if I disable page tweaks.

Thinking back about my experience with Orion for the last couple months of using it, signing in to various sites is the one thing that's been consistently giving me trouble. In that sense I wish I had named this thread just "Unable to sign in". 🙂

Another one I'm running into tonight is my insurance web site, mysunlife.ca. I tried disabling page tweaks at first, but then even in compatiblity mode it times out after 60 seconds. Like Aviso, I'm able to sign in with Safari no problem although I have a few blockers enabled.

It's not just obscure or random web sites too. Big ones like developer.apple.com and appstoreconnect.apple.com don't work either, including in compatibility mode, so I have to switch to Safari.

This all feels like part of a bigger theme.
